One of the many messages I have received over the last few weeks, (from the day of trumpets therough the end of the feast of tabernacles) is that the denominational dogma of the modern church system is falling by the wayside. I have a Baptist friend who preaches at two churches on sundays one is Presbyterian one is Methodist… a former baptist church here in town has become non denominational and has Torah portion tracts at the front door… of the three churches I have attended in the last few weeks two of them recite the Arronic blessing at the end of service, one blows a shofar at the beginning of service. The third is very strong in evangelism and is developing a thorough understanding of Holy Feasts.
I can only wonder if these trips all over town to random churches of His choosing are an effort to have me develop a network, possibly to get me accustomed to moving around or simply God showing me that when He said “watch what I can do” he is only proving that statement to my finite carnal mind. My spirit says it’s all three possibilities.
There is an amazing move of God toward a more complete restoration of HIS church- scratch that his Called Out Assembly. While there is nothing new under the sun according to scripture YHVH also told the prophet “behold I will do a new thing”. Not new to God, new to man. May be not… Cyrus allowed for the revival of the Hebrew temple on God’s 70 year time line, Jesus restored a divorced northern kingdom to the marriage covenant through his death, burial and resurrection and God is restoring what can only be described as the Levitical priesthood, which is men who are well versed in scripture and seek Godly council in matters pertaining to daily life.
